ARIS at Home is growing throughout Chicago's western suburbs and is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers for flexible, one-on-one home care as new clients are added in their area. This opportunity emphasizes part-time or supplemental caregiving hours rather than a guaranteed full-time schedule, with scheduling matched to location, availability, experience and client needs.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, senior-care, home-care or healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable phone/email communication are required.
• Ability to follow a client's plan of care and be flexible with different needs.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, mobility issues is valuable.
• CNA certification is welcome but not required for every ARIS caregiver position.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Light housekeeping, laundry and linen changes.
• Medication reminders.
• Mobility and transfer assistance.
• Transportation or errands when included in the client's care plan.
• Following the client's established plan of care.
• Communicating changes or concerns to the ARIS care team.
