SYNERGY HomeCare of Central IL is hiring caring individuals to provide one-on-one home-based support across day, evening, and overnight shifts. You can select hours to fit your availability, with competitive pay based on experience and client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Must maintain current automobile insurance.
• Must complete all IDPH background check requirements.
• Must be able to work independently and follow established care plans and instructions.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be able to accurately document services provided, observations, and other required information.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and safely perform the physical responsibilities associated with caregiving duties.
• Must be comfortable working with individuals with various personalities, needs, abilities, and backgrounds.
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Must maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
• Must follow company policies, safety procedures, and infection-control practices.
• Must recognize and report changes in a client’s condition, safety concerns, incidents, abuse, neglect, or other concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care to clients in private homes or assisted living settings.
• Follow the client’s care plan and communicate concerns.
• Offer companionship and social interaction.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Help with mobility, transfers, and walking.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands and transportation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition to the office.
