Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required
• Good public relations skills
• This position may require use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patrons
• Provide general information on recreation activities, programs and facilities
• Answer incoming phone calls and transferring to proper staff when necessary
• Take registrations and payments for recreation programs
• Fill out daily cash reports and balance cash receipts when needed
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the Recreation Center
• Attend staff planning, training and development meetings
• Communicate with other staff in order to successfully resolve issues and problems in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned
