Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks for criminal and abuse registries.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without restrictions.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and personal auto insurance as required by the State of Iowa.
• Must have access to a telephone and complete required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts at homes and programs and get to know the people we support.
• Provide personal care and daily living support following each person's plan.
• Document each shift and hand off clearly to the next person.
