Job summary

BioLife in Houston, TX, is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist to join our team. Most shifts run 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, designed to fit a busy life.

You will welcome donors, screen them, and document vital signs to support plasma collection in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a donor screener and phlebotomy to support center operations, including shift variability, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while focusing on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation using the information system.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes per approved procedures.
