Job summary

Strategic Asset Services, LLC is seeking a Commercial Property Inspector to conduct property inspections for lenders nationwide. The role is part-time and paid hourly, with inspections taking place from a home office and travel to sites as needed.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in home inspection, property management, or appraisal, and be proficient with Windows, Excel and Word. Ideal applicants can manage schedules, communicate clearly with property managers, and produce detailed reports.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in Home Inspector, Property Management or Appraisals.
• Own a Windows-based PC with Windows 10 or newer (non-Apple).
• Microsoft Excel and Word (Version 2013 or newer) subscription or full access.
• Ability to adequately assess the physical condition of a property.
• Availability to work at least two full days during the work week (Mon–Fri).
• Prepare clear and concise reports.
• Strong computer, typing, and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with clients via email and/or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties within an assigned territory.
• Take digital photos of properties using a camera, smartphone or tablet.
• Type and insert photos into a report via the company website or Excel/Word.
• Attend training or meetings as required.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
