Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for outpatient clinic work, providing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in collaboration with the care team. The role covers the Central Market Clinic Float Pool across the Salt Lake Valley, with a flexible schedule and 24 budgeted hours per week.

Required are current RN licensure, BLS certification, and applicable clinical certifications.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Practice certifications as required by the setting (ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• RNs with <12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social and psychological status.
• Develop individualized plan of care with patient and family.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and delegate tasks.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust the plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism and accurate documentation.
