Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Armed Patrol DCJS Licensed in Fairfax, VA. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, aiming to provide dependable hours and flexibility. Pay rate is $27.31 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Virginia DCJS license required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols across buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; coordinate with responders as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence and assist with access control and visitor management.
• Complete accurate patrol and incident reports.
