Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed - Part Time Enhanced in Fairfax, VA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, aiming for up to 40 hours per week.

You will perform armed perimeter patrols, respond to incidents, and ensure safety while supporting a flexible schedule and reliable income. The position requires armed security experience, valid licenses, and a clean background.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Virginia DCJS license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required per Allied Universal policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, professional manner following established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions, and document incidents and observations per site requirements.
• Maintain readiness of authorized equipment and comply with all laws and Allied Universal policies related to armed post duties.
