Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Virginia DCJS security license required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Armed role requires 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Criminal history considered with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Industry-specific security training is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct armed patrols of interior/exterior areas and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain documentation per site policies.
