Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Coordinator to support the Outside Sales Representatives by placing and coordinating product orders and delivering superior customer service.

This is a full-time hourly role with flexible hours; wage is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, coordinating shipments, preparing quotes, and assisting in order placements for contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, concepts and the ability to influence and persuade.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely support to the outside sales team and customers.
• Handle incoming calls, emails and questions regarding pricing, availability, delivery, backorders, specifications, returns and orders.
• Monitors shipping dates to ensure timely delivery and expedites as needed.
• Intake customer and contractor issues and delegate handling within guidelines.
• Create quotes and estimates from salesperson to customers and contractors.
• Order products for contractors and vendors.
• Assist Outside Sales Representatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
