Job summary

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Coordinator to support our sales team by coordinating product orders and delivering superior service to customers.

This full-time hourly role requires flexible hours and a strong focus on accuracy and responsiveness. The candidate will handle pricing inquiries, quotes, order placements, and timely shipping coordination while collaborating with inside and outside sales teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lumber and building materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, concepts and the ability to influence and persuade.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely support to the outside sales team, members of the inside sales team and/or to customers.
• Handle incoming phone calls, emails and questions regarding pricing, availability, delivery, backorders, specifications, returns and order placements.
• Monitors scheduled shipping dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite, as needed.
• Intake customer and contractor issues and delegate handling, as necessary and assist in investigating and resolving the issue within company guidelines.
• Create and provide Quotes and estimates from the salesperson to the customers and contractors.
• Order products for contractors and vendors
• Assist Outside Sales Representatives to improve productivity and efficiency
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times
