Job summary

The Periscope Group is a nationwide network of physical and occupational therapists who perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments. You will conduct home visits, assess needs, and provide recommendations to help members maintain independence.

As an independent contractor, you set your schedule and are compensated per assessment ($135–$200), with benefits like continuing education and mentoring through the company’s program.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Physical or Occupational Therapist is required.
• Malpractice/liability insurance may be purchased at time of offer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel to member homes.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to/from member homes.
• Proficient with online portals and using devices for work tasks.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a client’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care to promote independence.
• Complete documentation through a secure, online portal accessible from any device.
