Job summary

Periscope offers independent contractor opportunities for licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists to perform in-home medical necessity assessments nationwide. You will conduct one-time home visits, evaluate patient needs, and provide recommendations to optimize independence.

Flexible scheduling and access to continuing education and mentoring are offered as part of a nationwide consultant network. You will manage documentation online from any device and travel to member homes as required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance may be purchased at time of offer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes
• Proficient with technology and online portals for documentation
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a member's home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care to maintain independence.
• Complete documentation through a secure online portal accessible from any device
