Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Guest Advocate to deliver friendly, efficient service in our store. You will greet guests, answer questions, and guide them to products, services, and pickup options while maintaining high guest satisfaction.

You choose shifts via the myTime scheduling app, with a requirement to respond to contact attempts and work at least one shift within 5 months. Training is provided to ensure readiness for daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends and peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Assist guests by answering questions and directing them to products, services and pickup options.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve guest needs and improve the experience.
• Explain benefits of loyalty programs and help with enrollment when needed.
• Support cash handling and store operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Cover shifts and respond to store needs, aiming for reliable attendance.
