Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Guest Advocate to welcome guests, assist with questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience in the store. You will select shifts via the myTime app, maintain guest service standards, and stay reliable with attendance and prompt communication.

The role requires flexibility for varied hours, including nights and weekends, and emphasizes safety, efficiency, and helpfulness across checkout, drive-up and order pickup services.

• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
