Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CNA for the Resource Team in the Northeastern Wisconsin region. The role offers part-time hours (24 per week) with self-scheduling and night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

You may float across sites, providing patient care under RN supervision in several hospitals. Responsibilities include basic nursing tasks, documentation in EMR, specimen collection, and coordinating with discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required for documentation and EMR entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities.
• Maintain annual educational requirements for hospital certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, feeding, positioning and transfers.
• Document vital signs and patient data in EMR accurately.
• Perform rounds and communicate observations to the RN promptly.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Handle specimens collection and lab-related tasks per protocol.
• Restock supplies and maintain clean, safe nursing areas.
• Assist with patient positioning and transportation as needed.
• Ensure infection prevention practices and age-appropriate care.
