Job summary

MercyOne Genesis in Illinois seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide assessment and treatment of neonates under the supervision of pediatricians. The role requires attending high‑risk deliveries, stabilizing patients, and coordinating care in the Level II nursery.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited NNP program.
• Active NNP certification and Illinois state license.
• At least two years NICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and treat neonates under pediatrician supervision.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; write orders for meds and IV therapy.
• Attend high‑risk deliveries and stabilize newborns as needed.
• Provide newborn care, resuscitation, and transport coordination.
