Job summary

Medcareers.com is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage in Illinois. The role requires an IL license and Board Certified NP status, with ACLS/BLS and active DEA/CSR. Expect 15-20 neonatal patients per shift, Monday–Friday, 7a–7p, from November 1, 2023 ongoing.

Minimum 1 year of NICU NP experience is required, and competency in line placements, resuscitation, and critical procedures is essential. An attending is available overnight with fellows and residents in-house.

Qualifications

• Requires IL license and Board Certified NP.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Active DEA and CSR registrations.
• Minimum 1 year neonatal NP experience.
• Competent in umbilical line, central line, arterial line placements.
• Neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lumbar puncture, chest tube procedures.
