Kj’s Market is hiring for a Part-Time Meat Department position. You will provide friendly guest service, prepare meats, stock and rotate product, and handle special cut requests.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy weights and work in a cold environment, with opportunities to learn multiple tasks and advance within a family-owned company. Formación

• Friendliness and a positive attitude for guest service.
• Ability to work well with others in a team setting.
• Physically capable of lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and meet technical requirements.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of working in a cold environment.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Previous meat cutting experience is preferred.
• Meat cutting skills tested in qualification process.

Responsabilidades

• Provide polite, friendly service to all guests.
• Prepare product for sale including cutting, weighing, and trimming per standards.
• Price, stock, and rotate frozen and fresh meats.
• Fulfill special guest service requests (special cuts, slicing).
• Maintain sanitation in cooler, sales, and prep areas.
• Ensure high quality, fresh, properly dated products.
• Report temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat sale items on PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
