Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) in Nassau, NY to join our pediatric therapy team. The LMSW will provide ongoing special instruction and ABA services to children in natural environments, educate families, and collaborate across homes, clinics, and community settings.

The role offers a flexible schedule and support from clinical supervisors. Requirements include NY LMSW licensure and 1–2 years with children preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York.
• 1-2 years of experience working with children birth-5 is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
