Job summary

Achieve Beyond on Long Island, NY is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our pediatric therapy team. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in homes, clinics, and community settings across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

The LCSW will provide ongoing support, education to families, and documentation of progress, while collaborating with clinical supervisors and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY LCSW license.
• 1–2 years of experience with children birth-5 preferred.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Self-motivated and a team player with patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
