Job summary

Achieve Beyond in NYC, NY is seeking a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) to join our pediatric therapy team. You can work a flexible schedule and impact lives across homes, communities, and clinics in the NYC area.

The LMSW license in New York is required, with 1–2 years of experience with children birth-5 preferred. Travel to assigned cases is expected, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York.
• 1-2 years of experience with children birth-5 preferred.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
