Job summary

NHS Highland in Invercargill? Invergordon is seeking a 25-hour Catering Assistant/Cook to join a busy kitchen. You will work a variety of hours from early morning to late afternoon on a 5/7 rotational basis, assisting the senior cook with patient and staff meals.

The role requires prior cooking experience in a similar setting and SVQ3 or equivalent, plus strong communication and organisational skills to run the catering service when the senior cook is away.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a similar environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the senior cook in the preparation of all patient and staff meals.
• Assume responsibility for the running of the catering service in the absence of the senior cook.
