Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them select products for home improvement projects. The role focuses on listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise throughout the day.

You will work in one of several departments based on needs, with responsibilities including assisting customers, stocking, processing orders, and potentially cross-training in different areas to ensure outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or similar device.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Able to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely fulfillment.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, cutting materials).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
