Job summary

Addus HomeCare is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors and people with disabilities in their homes. The Home Care Aide - Core works on an on-call basis, 5 days per week with at least one weekend day, and guarantees 20 hours per week with up to 40 hours.

Must be 18+, pass background checks, and have reliable transportation. You will follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, and report on client status, while maintaining compassionate, professional service and staying

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Perform routine house cleaning, meal prep, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
