Job summary

Addus HomeCare is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides - HCAs to join a compassionate team serving clients in their homes. The role is on-call for 24 hours and requires 5 days per week with at least one weekend shift, offering up to 40 hours per week with 20 guaranteed hours.

Candidates must be at least 18, pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and follow detailed care plans while maintaining excellent communication with clients and supervisors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The Home Care Aide - Core calls into the office every morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans for clients and report on tasks completed.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Perform routine house cleaning, meal prep, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.
