Job summary

Addus Homecare is seeking Flex Home Care Aides - HCAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes. The role is on-call 5 days per week with 40 hours total (20 guaranteed) and requires weekend availability.

You'll follow care plans, assist with personal and home tasks, transport clients to appointments, and help with medications while reporting changes to the office. Must be 18+, pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation (valid driver license and insurance).
• On-call for 24-hour shifts; 5 days per week including a weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Call office each morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and personal care.
• Provide routine house cleaning, meal prep and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
