Job summary

Nurse Next Door is hiring compassionate Home Care Aides to support seniors in their homes across California. No medical experience required; paid training and registration help provided. Part-time or full-time opportunities with morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts are available.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation. You will work under a Care Designer, maintain client records, and ensure safety and comfort in home settings.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Current registration with CA Home Care Aide Registry or eligibility to register.
• Criminal background check and disclosures.
• Evidence of basic training or plan to complete training per CA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow the client’s care plan outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with ADLs and personal hygiene.
• Support meal planning and preparation.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Remind and assist with medications as applicable.
• Document services performed and hours worked.
• Report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Drive to appointments and run errands.
• Maintain adherence to training requirements.
