Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide home-based Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers in California. The role involves working with families, following IFSPs, and delivering services in homes and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach specific developmental goals.
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and state/federal regulations).
