Job summary

Castle Education is seeking an experienced HLTA in Scarborough to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, lead activities, and provide 1:1 and small-group support in multiple primary settings.

Flexibility is key: choose days you work, with full-time, part-time and ad hoc opportunities. Daily pay ranges from £95 to £130 depending on experience and role, with weekly PAYE and holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Strong classroom management skills
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils

Responsibilities

• Covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Delivering pre planned lessons
• Leading whole class activities
• Supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting teachers with classroom management
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and key skills
• Supporting learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment
• Taking on additional responsibilities within the classroom or wider school
