Job summary

4 YOUR PEACE OF MIND LLC is seeking a Home Health Aide / CNA in Connecticut to support clients with daily living tasks under RN supervision. The role includes following care plans, assisting with grooming, mobility, nutrition, and safety, and performing duties within state regulations and agency policies.

Qualifications include 18+ years old, 1 year of verified personal care, HHA or CNA certification, and fluent English. Transportation to assignments is required, and orientation will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum one year of verifiable personal care experience (3 references required).
• Completion of HHA training or CNA certification, plus a competency evaluation.
• Physically able to perform duties (lifting, transfers, ambulation).
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assigned to clients by an RN, with care instructions prepared and updated as needed.
• May perform duties within the scope of training and state law, including:
• Personal grooming and hygiene (bathing, shaving, oral care, dressing).
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and exercises.
• Nutrition support, including feeding and hydration.
• Toileting and elimination assistance.
• Light housekeeping necessary for client safety.
• Medication assistance (self-administered only) including:
• Retrieving the medication container
• Confirming it is prescribed for the client
• Reminding to take medication
• Observing client self-administering
• Other activities as taught and delegated by an RN per Connecticut law and agency policy.
