Utopia Home Care, Inc. in Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team.

We provide in-home nursing, therapy, and home health aide services, serving over 1400 clients across Connecticut since 1983. Candidates must have CT HHA or CNA certification, valid CT Driver's License or CT State ID, and be able to show original SSN card and recent medical/PPD documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a HHA or CNA certification and possess the original document of certification from a state approved training provider.
• Must provide original documents for CT Driver's License or CT State ID and original Social Security Card.
• Must provide documentation of a physical and PPD taken within the past 12 months or be willing to obtain a physical and PPD test quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for clients who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in their homes (bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, toileting, transfers, medication reminders).
• Deliver compassionate care to seniors and clients with disabilities in a home setting.
• Maintain patient dignity, accuracy in notes, and reliability in transportation to client cases.
