The role involves verifying insurance and demographics, processing check-ins, and scheduling in EPIC while upholding HIPAA standards and delivering courteous service.

The PSA I focuses on a smooth patient flow, professional interactions, and accurate data handling to support the Jefferson Experience across multiple ambulatory sites in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or patient-facing roles preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of EPIC or similar scheduling systems is a plus.
• Experience handling insurance verification and demographic data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process patient check-in and check-out at the front desk.
• Verify insurance, referrals, and demographics for patients.
• Schedule appointments via EPIC and manage patient flow.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security standards in daily tasks.
• Escalate patient or provider concerns to maintain smooth operations.
