Candlewood Suites St. Charles is seeking a Front Desk Agent who is flexible, dependable, and guest-focused to join our team in Saint Charles, MO.

The role requires morning, evening, and overnight shifts, with training for five consecutive days and availability for weekends and holidays. The position involves welcoming guests, performing check-ins/outs, handling calls, processing payments, and assisting with overnight audit procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel/front desk experience preferred.
• Open availability for all three shifts.
• Must be dependable, punctual and flexible.
• Strong guest-service and communication skills.
• Basic computer, data-entry and math skills.
• Ability to follow detailed night audit procedures.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• Willingness to assist with laundry and public-area cleaning.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items as required.
• Comfortable taking calls and mitigating stressful situations.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Complete check-ins, checkout, and reservation updates.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions.
• Process payments, deposits, and credit card authorizations accurately.
• Handle guest concerns and notify management when needed.
• Maintain accurate front desk records and shift reports.
• Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance.
• Follow safety, security, privacy, and cash-handling procedures.
• Monitor the property and respond to guest needs.
• Keep front desk and public areas clean and organized.
• Assist housekeeping with laundry as needed.
• Complete additional duties assigned by management.
• For night audit: balance cash and run end-of-day processes.
• Prepare daily reports and morning shift prep.
