Job summary

Candlewood Suites St. Charles is hiring a Guest Services Representative for 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shifts. Applicants must be available to start immediately, complete five consecutive days of training, and work Sundays.

Weekend availability is required. Compensation is $17 hourly. The role involves answering calls, managing reservations, checking guests in/out, handling payments, enrolling members in IHG One Rewards, and keeping the front desk welcoming.

Qualifications

• Available to work both day and evening shifts, including Sundays.
• Start immediately and attend five consecutive days of training.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using computers and hotel systems.
• Hotel experience helpful but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, manage reservations, and respond to guest requests.
• Check guests in and out, process payments, and explain hotel policies.
• Recognize IHG One Rewards members and assist with enrollment.
• Address guest concerns promptly and communicate follow-up needs to the next shift.
• Keep the front desk and public areas clean and welcoming.
• Assist with guest laundry and other front desk duties as needed.
• Complete shift reports and maintain accurate records.
