Job summary

Candlewood Suites St. Charles is seeking a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will remove dirty linen, stock carts, transport soiled linen, and ensure laundry areas are clean and organized.

Qualifications include reliability, punctuality, ability to follow instructions, and physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and push for long shifts. Previous hotel laundry experience is a plus but not required. Starting pay is $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirty linen and towels from guest rooms and guest hallways.
• Stock and replenish housekeeping carts and linen bins throughout the shift, ensuring they are fully stocked and ready for use before leaving for the day.
• Transport soiled linen safely to the employee laundry room.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linen and towels.
• Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
• Inspect linen for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
• Keep the employee laundry room clean, safe, and organized at all times.
• Clean lint traps and maintain laundry equipment work areas.
• Stock clean linen in the appropriate storage areas.
• Notify management of damaged linen, equipment problems, or supply needs.
• Assist the housekeeping department with additional duties as assigned.
