Job summary

UT Federal Credit Union is seeking a Floating Financial Consultant to provide friendly, professional service to members and staff. You will process transactions, cross-sell products, and resolve issues while upholding confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a solid understanding of banking products. You’ll participate in daily operations, training, and branch activities to support member satisfaction and sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 6 months to 2 years' related experience in a customer/member service, financial institution, or sales/retail environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of financial products and services and regulatory considerations.
• Demonstrated sales skills and ability to meet sales goals.
• Regular, predictable attendance and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, responsive service to members and co-workers; adheres to service standards.
• Cross-sells appropriate products and services to meet member needs and goals.
• Maintains knowledge of products, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Processes financial transactions within authority levels, including wire transfers and deposits.
• Balances cash, performs end-of-day tasks, and supports vault and branch operations.
• Assists with branch audits, upkeep, and staff meetings for training and promotions.
