Job summary

Vital Research is seeking Field Interviewers in Wyoming to conduct confidential surveys by phone, Zoom, or in-person. You’ll work independently with a flexible schedule, coordinating with our research team to ensure ethical and high-quality data collection for state-supported services.

The role emphasizes empathy, clear communication, and cultural sensitivity, with training provided. Expect travel as needed and use of company tablets and translation services to support diverse participants.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting interviews, surveys, or research
• Excellent communicator capable of building rapport
• Experience with aging, disabled, or underserved populations
• Comfort with phone, video, or in-person interviews
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfort using tablets and mobile apps for data collection
• Must have access to a personal vehicle for in-person interviews

Responsibilities

• Reach out to participants from a provided list and schedule/complete surveys
• Conduct 1 survey per day or 5 surveys per week using assigned tools and protocols
• Accurately capture participant responses with high attention to confidentiality
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions
• Communicate regularly with the research team for updates and support
• Use translation services to administer surveys to non-English-speaking participants
