Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is hiring a Family Ministries Coordinator to support families seeking physical aid, personal growth, and spiritual guidance. You’ll manage intakes, assessments, and coordinated care with a Johnson County Case Manager, while promoting POH and Bible-based life skills.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in social work or ministry leadership, a valid driver’s license, and required trainings. Office-based with some travel and weekend/evening work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ministry, social work, psychology or related field preferred.
• Background check required and reviewed.
• At least two years of social work or related field experience; ministry leadership preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; Safe From Harm training within 90 days; Caseworker Certification within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake assessments and action plans for families in need.
• Coordinate life skill courses and Bible-based programs.
• Develop community partnerships and maintain documentation in SIMS.
• Supervise volunteers and assist in Christmas efforts and outreach events.
