Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one, home-based behavioral support for children on the autism spectrum in New Jersey. This role partners with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement treatment plans and track progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Assist with activities to keep up with children during sessions (movement, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds).
• Perform any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday 9am-12pm or 9:30am-12:30pm.
