Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an Echo Technologist in Crestview, FL to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficient image acquisition.

You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and timely reports. The role requires proficiency in 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler techniques, with emphasis on patient safety and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of echocardiography experience
• RDMS or RDCS preferred or RCS certification
• BCLS required within first 7 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures and monitor patient status.
• Assist physicians with TEEs and ensure optimal imaging and safety.
• Document preliminary results and patient info in EMR with confidentiality.
• Maintain equipment and supplies and ensure exam readiness.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and consents prior to procedures.
