Job summary

The ideal candidate will have RDMS certification and BCLS, with experience in 2-D, M-mode, and Doppler imaging, and will document results in the EMR while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging (2-D, M-mode, Doppler).
• Ability to document results accurately in EMR and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Strong communication and teamwork with healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies per departmental protocols and physician guidance.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures and monitor conditions.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images; complete post-exercise imaging within 60 seconds.
• Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) ensuring safety and quality.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for patient care.
• Document preliminary reports and results in EMR with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and consents prior to procedures.
• Collaborate with team to relay patient condition changes for timely interpretation.
