Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one with individuals in home and community settings while following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

Key responsibilities include delivering home- and community-based support, helping with daily living activities, documenting services, and building trusting relationships

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
