Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. DSPs provide one-on-one support following each client’s ISP to promote independence and everyday living skills.

The role offers flexible hours with consistent local cases and a supportive team. Candidates should be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and may need CPR/First Aid or obtain it after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
