Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. This role focuses on providing hands-on support to promote independence and daily living success, working one-on-one with clients according to each ISP.

You will assist with daily living activities, document services, and communicate with the care team while building meaningful relationships with the people you support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
