Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

You will work one-on-one with clients following each person's ISP, promoting independence and community participation while documenting services and communicating with the care team. Flexible hours and local cases help fit various schedules, with growth opportunities within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• HS diploma or GED preferred
• Driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Caregiving or DSP experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
