Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across the state. You will work one-on-one, promote independence, and follow each person’s ISP to help daily living succeed.

Ideal candidates are 18+, may have a high school diploma or GED, and hold CPR/First Aid or be willing to obtain it. Flexible hours and growth opportunities make this role rewarding.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
