Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. DSPs will work one-on-one with clients following each ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

Roles involve in-house and community-based support, flexible hours, and a collaborative care team. Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required; CPR/First Aid is encouraged to obtain upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation per ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with individuals you support.
