Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. The DSP role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and community participation, following each client's ISP and ensuring safety and dignity.

You will work one-on-one with clients, document services, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
